VINTrack is a VIN history lookup service that aggregates publicly available data — auctions (Copart, IAAI), marketplace listings (AutoRia, OLX), and open government registries (police, customs, OSAGO insurance) — into a chronological event timeline. This page explains what data we process and why.
VINTrack doesn't independently collect personal data — we aggregate what's already published in public listings and government registries: VIN, plate numbers, mileage, prices, photos, wanted status, insurance policy status, traffic fines.
Phone numbers found in listings are shown partially masked (e.g. +3809*****5) — full numbers are never published.
We don't fabricate or infer data: if a source has nothing to say, the corresponding report section is simply omitted rather than filled with guesses.
Looking up a vehicle by VIN or plate requires no account, email, or personal information from you. We have no record of who searched which VIN.
The site uses first-party page-visit analytics to understand which pages are used — no third-party ad trackers, no selling data to third parties.
A technical cookie may be used to remember your chosen interface language.
If data about a specific vehicle is inaccurate, outdated, or you believe it shouldn't be linked there (e.g. a wrongly matched plate), contact us — we'll review the request and correct or hide the record if warranted.

VINTrack is currently free to use; paid features may be introduced in the future — this doesn't change the data-handling principles described here. We'll note material changes to this policy on this page.
