What VINTrack is

VINTrack aggregates open data about vehicles — auction events, marketplace listings, government registries. We are not an official government registry, an insurer, or a vehicle-report seller in the traditional sense.

Data accuracy

Data comes from third-party sources and may be incomplete, outdated, or contain errors originating from the source itself (e.g. a mistyped plate in a listing). VINTrack shows each event with its source and date but doesn't guarantee completeness or full accuracy.

Before buying a vehicle, cross-check data against the original sources and get an independent inspection — a VINTrack report is a helper tool, not a substitute for a technical inspection.

Cost of the service

Vehicle history lookups on VINTrack are currently free and require no registration. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or extended reports in the future — such changes will be announced on the site in advance.

Prohibited use

Automated bulk scraping of the site beyond good-faith personal use, attempts to bypass the service's technical limits, or using VINTrack data for stalking, fraud, or other unlawful activity are prohibited.

Limitation of liability

VINTrack is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for decisions made based on data from the service, including decisions to buy or sell a vehicle.
